The TCX8886A is a high integration solution for lithium-ion/polymer battery protection.TCx8886Acontains internalpower MOSFE’T. high-accuracy voltage detection circuits and delay circuits.TCX8886Ahas all the protectionfunctions required in the battery application including overcharging, over discharging, overcurrent and load shortcircuiting protection etc. The accurate overcharging detection voltage ensures safe and full utilization charging. Thelow standby current drains litle current from the cell while in storage. The device is not only targeted for digitacellular phones, but also for any other Li-lon and Li-Poly battery-powered information appliances requiring longterm battery life.
TheTCX8886A requires a minimal number of readily available, external components and is available in a space savingESOP8 package.
