The TCW9050 is a highly integrated and efficient single-chipwireless power receiver’ransmitter lC (TRx). As a receiver, itcan deliver up to 50w to the charger system used in mobilephones.Optionally,the TCw9050 can serve as a wirelesstransmitter that can transmit up to 15W power to otherwireless handheld devices. Both the TX and RX mode arecompatible to WPc 1.2.4 protocol and in support forpropriety protocol development.
The TCW9050 integrates a high efficiency synchronous full-bridge rectifier with ultra-ow Ros to convert the AC powersignal from a wireless transmitter to DC power and aprogrammable low-dropout LDOallowing forterrificefficiency and system optimization.The TCW9050 contains an industry-eading on-chip 32-bitMCU oflering great flexibility for different applications withextremely low standby power consumption and a MTPmemory makes a convenient for system firmware update.The TCW9050 indudes under-voltage lockout, over voltageprotection, over current protection and temperature sensorcircuit to ensure the system safety.The device is available in an ultra-small 2.90mm x4.04mmWLCSP-54 package.
